Cliniqra Health Book a walkthrough

About · Est. 2017

We started Cliniqra after one too many panicked Fridays.

Founded by a hospital systems administrator and a primary-care office manager, Cliniqra exists for one reason to make IT in healthcare boring, in the best possible way.

Section 02 · Origin

A company built from the front desk outward.

Our co-founder Elena spent twelve years as an office manager in a four-physician practice. She watched, again and again, as scheduling software crashed at 8AM, billing workstations got compromised, and IT vendors disappeared after invoicing. Cliniqra is what she wished she'd had a partner whose job was to make the back office unnoticeable.

Today we operate the IT and administrative layer of 38 clinics across California, Oregon and Washington and our average client has been with us for 4.7 years.

Section 03 · Operating principles

Five rules we won't break.

These are non-negotiable. They are how we decide whether to take a client, build a tool, or escalate an incident.

01 Patient time is sacred

Every decision we make is benchmarked against one question: does this protect the time clinicians get to spend with patients?

02 PHI is not negotiable

Patient data never leaves jurisdiction, never leaves encryption, never leaves audit.

03 Humans answer tickets

If you can't reach a real engineer, we have failed. No bots, no scripts.

04 Fix before you ask

If we can patch it without bothering the clinic, we will. Every time.

05 Plain English wins

Every report leaves the NOC translated. No CVE numbers without context.

The four people who answer for everything.

Small leadership team by design. Each holds direct accountability for a part of the clinic experience.

Elena Park-Ortiz

Devon Akhtar

CTO & Co-founder. Former hospital systems admin. Owns the RMM, security stack and engineering team.

Jules Bertrand

Head of NOC. Runs the 24/7 operations floor. Sets the SLA, owns the response time.

Section 07 · How we work

A small team. Deep responsibility.

We deliberately stay small per-client. Every clinic has a named success engineer, a named NOC contact, and a named compliance lead. You will know our team's names. Our team will know your staff's coffee orders.

~9 staff per success engineer 24/7 NOC, 4 engineers per shift Quarterly on-site visits
